These days i continute my literature tour in the world of "Tropic of Cancer". This book are new task for me. Not only some language Miller used are French , but also he used some writting technique in it.
Few days ago , i met a girl in the BBS of Taiwan called PTT. She not only answered some my question about this novel , but also gave me some tip about reading it. Being borned in Paris , no doubt she have many background intelligence about France or Paris (Miller writed this novel in Paris).
Today and yesterday i had some progress. This novel isn't that hard to me now. Just like she said , Miller like to make some sentence "mystic" (just like Joyce), but when the plot turns into something which reflects what the philosophy he takes, then the paragraph will be simple, easy to understand.
And , i find that everytime i read a english novel , there have a time which i need to get used to the author's hobbit. When i get it , i can reduce the time i spend on checking out the word i don't know. And the pace i read will boost.
Now i am on about page 75 .
